If you use these solutions everyday, you are causing even your normal flora to decrease in number. When this happens, invading bacteria will have an easier chance of proliferating because they do not have much of a competition in your mouth. People need to understand that mouthwash solutions should only be used in moderation. Brushing your teeth and flossing should never be omitted in the daily routine. You may still use mouthwash solutions but only on days when you need it most. A frequency of every other day may be sufficient and allowable.
