I have never worked in the banking industry but I am a consumer of the products offered by banks. Banks in general offer the same services, just that some banks have a better way of presenting these products and therefore attract a lot of clients. There are banks that weed out the mass market by raising their minimum balance and thus when you walking into their banking halls, one would wonder if they have any clients as the halls are empty. On the other hand there are those banks whose banking halls are packed to capacity with the queues moving constantly and all the tellers busy punching in numbers and printing receipts. For these workers, jokes about bankers may seem unfair, but it is not so much about the employees themselves as it is about the reputation of the industry and the decisions made by the top level of management, which are the centre of these jokes.

I type a lot for work, and sometimes I do not have the time to edit everything. I try to look smart by using a spell checker to help me out. I know that these things can help me out a lot. I feel like I just have way too much to type to really look at what I am doing wrong. I guess that it is such an important part of my job to be as efficient as possible. If there is something that is going to help me determine the correctness of my typing, then I am more than willing to spend time and money on it. I am willing to do anything that makes me work a bit faster, because I know that that is an important part of work. The faster I get it done, the faster I can go home. It is all really up to me to do it correctly.
